THE TYPHOON DOKSURI

We had a typhoon in Xiamen. It was actually quite scary! I’ve never been in one, everyone had to stay in their homes for the day because typhoon was so bad.

I’m quite annoyed because as soon as I leave there are no more typhoons and when I come back, a typhoon comes back! A typhoon is basically big wind and rain. We can’t stop it because it’s a Natural Disaster. I’m wondering why they don’t have typhoon in UK because it rains a lot in UK.

Exciting Week

This week there is loads of good news because first I did a netball tournament and then I did a race called cross country and the only people there were the best runners in Leeds and I was one of them! There were more than 105 people and I came 21st!Plus two weeks ago I did a GSAL exam(it was really fun made a new friend as well ) and I passed the exam!

I am so good at sports

I said I am so good at sports because I did a race with my school they picked 5 of the fastest girls to do a 900 metres run and I was one of them. Unfortunatly it was on a rainy day. But on the good side I came 10th out of 73 people. Now I am doing another run. This next run includes the best runners from all the schools in Leeds!Plus I have also been selected for a netball team at school to play in Gateways against other schools. I am soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo excited!

My Half Term Holiday

My favourite part of my half term holiday was a foam party. What happend is they had these things that looked like cannons but they actually sprayed out foam. When the machine turned on, foam went on my head, hair, face, body and my shoes. Then the entertainer said everyone can jump into the swimming pool. So everyone began bringing foam and jumping into the swimming pool again again and again. πŸ™‚
